INES Study Group

The aim of the INES Study Group is to bring researchers regularly together to share and develop their knowledge of a host of issues concerning European Social Democracy. The researches take part in and or organize meetings with each other.

At present the INES Study Group is mainly focusing on:

» The Europeanisation of social democratic parties;
» Development of a European Social democratic party;
» Historical networks of European Socialism and social democracy; and
» Social democratization of European Union policies.

However, the INES Study Group is also open to developing alternative research agendas should there be sifficient demand. If you have a proposal, or indeed are interested in taking part in the INES Study Group, please contact us.

Activities of the INES Study Group:

» Submitting work-in-progress for discussion and possible publications;
» Offering comments and feedback on the work of others;
» Develop working partnerships to further major research projects; and
» Contributing to the preparation and completion of the network outputs.
